"Your Face is a Saxophone." It may not be true, and it may not make any sense, but if you saw it on a giant billboard, it would certainly get your attention. Just like all advertising.

Now that we have your attention, Your Face is a Saxophone will be an animated comedy series about the advertising industry, and the people who work in it because they couldn't find a job in what they actually went to art school for. Also, everyone has inanimate objects instead of heads for some reason.

Rather than pitching this pilot to a network (who would most certainly turn it down because no self-respecting corporation would pay to run a commercial during it), we've decided to pitch it to you. Yes, you.

Instead of funding production through advertising revenue from faceless corporations which would like the viewer to purchase their toilet paper, we're going to raise money from people like you, who'd like to see more of our work . And that won't stop after this Kickstarter project; we won't require anyone to pay money ever to watch Your Face is a Saxophone, share it, remix it, or pretty much anything, because we believe in your voluntary support.

Plus, every episode will be completely open source under Creative Commons Attribution. If you're an artist, animator, or video editor, you'll be able to download our assets, project files, and footage to remix and reuse as you see fit.

Your contribution will go towards: — Buying better equipment to produce higher quality sound and picture — Getting food for the animators, because it kind of throws a wrench into the whole project if they die of starvation — Doing all sorts of silly legal things like registering as a company (ideally a not-for-profit) — Bandwidth and hosting for the show's website — Other extraneous production cost stuff

If you help us raise double our goal ($18k), we'll conclude the final episode with a full cast musical number. We can't promise that they'll sing particularly well, but it will at least be amusing.

With your funding, we'll be able to begin production of six more episodes to make up a full seven-episode season.
