$100k in 10 days, how we did it, and what's next

Hi friends,

Last Thursday, we announced an ambitious goal to raise $100,000 in 10 days. A feat only a select few Kickstarter projects have achieved. Within hours of sharing this goal with you, we blew past $100,000! Thank you so much for your support. It's been inspiring to see you rally behind Soma.

If you're curious how we did it, we just wrote a post on Tim Ferriss' blog. It's called Hacking Kickstarter and it outlines, step-by-step, everything we did to have on of the fastest growing Kickstarters.

Now that we've surpassed our fundraising goal, we're shifting our focus back to product development. We're committed to shipping the best product in the world as soon as we can. Most other Kickstarters keep pushing so they can raise as much money as possible. We've stopped marketing our Kickstarter. For the next six months, it's all about getting you the Soma carafe and filter in a timely manner.
