Your Move is Jersey City's first and only modern dance festival, designed to support emerging choreographers from the tri-state area. Now in our 3rd year, we're continuing to present dance that we really care about and want to share with the larger community. 

Your contribution to Your Move will help make this 4-day production possible. Our needs include: a sprung dance floor for safety and performance value, lighting equipment to support the choreographers’ visions, and promotion and marketing materials to continue expanding the audience in Jersey City and beyond. It’s our goal to make sure we pair high caliber dance pieces with high quality production.

It takes a village to run a dance festival. From the time Art House transforms into a dance space, to the last bow on closing night, our team is working non-stop. We want to make sure we're paying our hard-working technical and production staff for their care, professionalism, and dedication. 

Your support helps Your Move continue its position as a fixture in Jersey City’s arts community, as well as in the larger NYC dance world. We're dedicated to providing this opportunity for dance-artists to enrich their careers, present new and existing work, and strengthen ties to colleagues in the dance and arts communities.
