I am Josh, artistic manager and editor at theNewerYork Mag.
We have offices (meaning people with computers who help us) in Paris, New York City and Los Angeles.
I went to school for English and Philosophy (the money makers).
I like yoga, reading, classical piano, composting, gluten-free diets and hybrid cars, but when the time is right, I also like beer, trucks, shotguns, and dubstep (usually simultaneously).
I hope to grow theNewerYork into something bigger, a community/stage for experimental writers or an online art gallery.
I've got big plans.
Amy, thank you so much for your kind words!
Tell your son to email me if he wants to help out!

Josh, you don't know me, but I've known Michelle since before she was born and have spent every possible moment with her thereafter. I get (and love) what you're doing, and so does my indescribably interesting and talented anarchist teenage son. I would be honored to help with your endeavor any way I can, free of charge, and I believe I have much to offer. I have degrees and shmegrees, years of experience, mostly editing, but I'm also a primitive artist. While my actual age disgusts me, I remain 27 in my head - except when I randomly shout with deserved pride, "Boomers Rule." I'll end with these timeless words of wisdom from John Lennon: "I'm a moldy moldy man. I'm moldy through and through. I'm a moldy moldy man. You would not think it's true. I'm moldy til my eyeballs. I'm moldy til my toe. I will not dance I shyballs. I'm such a humble joe." Best wishes for continued success, Amy Favin
