What is the Kaptur 270? The Kaptur 270 is the best way to take photos and videos with your iPhone by allowing you to hold your iPhone like a camcorder. It's the only iPhone case that converts to a camera rig in one motion. It’s built to protect your phone and give you the ability to capture life while it happens.

What else can the Kaptur 270 do? The 270 degree rotating arm is super useful for capturing stable video with your iPhone, but we didn't stop there. We put a 1/4-20 thread in the base so you can take your stability to a whole new level and mount your Kaptur 270 to a tripod.

We also built a locking functionality into the arm so you can set your Kaptur 270 on the table while you're browsing the web or chatting with your friends on Facetime.  Three non-slip bumpers won't slide when it's on a flat surface.

Finally, we put a kickstand on the back so you can set your Kaptur 270 down while your watching YouTube and movies.

The Kaptur 270 is also designed to protect your phone from damage.  It secures your iPhone in so it won't slip out of the case, but is easy to remove if you need to. We've put so much functionality into the Kapur 270, we can't wait for you to get your hands on it and show us the creative ways you put it to use!

What are we using the money for? All the cases we used in making the video and to test functionality have been produced on a 3D printer and the process is just too expensive!  We need your help to pay for the injection mold tooling so we can get the Kaptur 270 out to as many people and on as many iPhones as possible. Your pledges will also help us cover our first round of production.  Backers pledge to pay for their selected reward only if we meet the funding goal of $10,000.  We are thankful for every dollar pledged!

When will rewards ship? With your help all rewards are scheduled to ship after our project funds in August 2012.

What is XOTOVO? XOTOVO is the company we started to sell the Kaptur 270 and develop future innovative cases that make it easier to capture video and add functionality to your phones.  It's our belief that a case should do more than just protect your phones.

Will there be more products from XOTOVO? Yes! We love the Kaptur 270 and are continuously thinking of new ways to make the case even more useful. Our current design is patent pending and we have patents pending on future innovations as well.  So while your pledge is directly helping us release the Kaptur 270 it's also indirectly fueling our passion to create the best, most useful smart phone cases available!
