WritersCorps

Has not connected their Facebook account.

WritersCorps places professional writers in community settings to teach creative writing to youth. Since our inception in 1994, we've helped more than 16,000 young people from neighborhoods throughout San Francisco develop their writing skills, express themselves, build confidence, and expand their passion for learning. Our services are free to the students and sites that we serve. WritersCorps publishes award-winning publications and produces events featuring young people. We're a project of the San Francisco Arts Commission and San Francisco Public Library; and part of a national alliance with sites in the Bronx and Washington, D.C., whose shared vision is to transform and strengthen individuals and communities using the written word. www.writerscorps.org
