About this project
The creative group Wooden Lens are seeking funds to make a music video for the new track "Widow" by Dream Boat. The concept, born from the mind of Wooden Lens, explores the eerie and manic events of a gathering of child-like beings during the remaining hours of the day. Set in a desolate wooded area the small beings begin a game of hide and seek, but as each child is chased down and tagged their eyes reveal a darker mystery.
As with our first fully produced music video Headless Horseman // Wavlngth the budget is incredibly small. The Wavlngth video was made for $500.
We've seen ours skills grow and with that our ambition to tell more complex and innovative stories. We've been in pre-production rolling along smoothly for the past month and we are set to work with a wonderful fashion designer David Yoo. Cinematographer, Victor Reznick, will lend his eye to help co-create an alternate version of our reality on film. In order to accomplish the concept properly we need to reach out for support.
The money we raise will pay for the cast and crews' time, hard work and meals. It will also be spent buying/building props, renting equipment, wardrobe, special effects and any other miscellaneous production costs.
