Update #41: New UPDATE coming...
Update #40: Production Update Video #1: "Inception"
Update #39: Video Coming Next Week
Hello, Everyone!
Summer is here, and I think it is trying to kill me. My apologies for the silence, but I am trying to juggle quite a few things at once, and my personal life is getting in the way of my 3-ring circus.
I will be filming the new update video next week, and I should have it posted soon after. I will most likely be focusing on the the creation of "1888" and the writing side of things first.
Stay tuned!
~Wolfgang
Update #38: Thank You!
Update #37: I Haven't Forgotten
Update #36: ...And We're Done!
Hello!
First, the team and I would like to welcome THE PULP GALLERY, BILL M., and KITTY to "1888." Our thanks to you for putting us safely across the finish line! We're so happy to have you!
To ALL of our backers, thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to tell this story. This has been a long road for me personally, that started with a single idea, and blossomed into a life changing journey. My sincerest thanks to all of you for believing in the project, and making a dream come true!
I would also like to thank the Kickstarter team for being so supportive of "1888" as well. The site itself was a godsend, and their prompt communication, and support for the project was wonderful!
However, now is the time for us to get working. As stated in my previous updates, I will be posting a new video this week. After that, there will be some time before the next update. Contracts will have to be drafted, production schedules arranged, and script revisions will be the order of the day for many days.
But I will give a schedule as to when the new updates will come, so don't worry. If there isn't an update, that only means that we are working away on a great story, and we'll have a lot of cool stuff to show you soon.
You'll be seeing me in vivid color next time!

I see you've got to ship only 34 comics or so from the pledges; I hope that means they will come signed by whoever happens to be around when you box 'em up. Just to give us a little something that folks buying from the store won't get?

Update #35: The Final Countdown!
*cue Europe song*
Hello!
This is it. 18 hours to go. I can't believe it has been 60 days. And what a 60 days it has been!
It gives me great pleasure to welcome BILL B., KYLE, BEN, and MATT C. to "1888." The team and I would like to give them our hearty thanks for joining in.
So, we have 18 hours, and then onward and upward. Again, I will be posting a video this week, but until then, I'll be posting "word-only" updates. Oh, man. Sorry. I was up late last night, and I know how this reads, I just cannot get my brain to come up with anything more intelligent right now. Best to wrap it up at this point, yes?
So, until next time...
~Wolfgang

Thanks, that song will be in my head all day, along with some classic footage of the Magician Gob from Arrested Development who used it as entrance music.
