Who better to than four French-speaking American children to produce a book on the treasured Statue of Liberty? Our family of six will be visiting New York City for the first time! With parents from upstate New York and the Walloon region of Belgium, these children love to explore and love the history of both America and Europe. We live in Austin, TX where we enjoy the stellar schools and fabulous weather. And for a large portion of each summer, we're in the most beautiful regions of Belgium, near the French border. During this time, the children are immersed in the French language and culture, which helps enables them to remain fluent in French.
