Hi Melissa,
Regarding your question about local music, the answer is pretty simple; drop it off at the station or mail it to us. The link below includes our address and some other frequently asked questions about submitting music to the studio. The link is to our blog. You can find the same information at wmse.org but the layout is a bit cleaner and easier to read on our blog.

Thanks to my son, I am recently aware and a fan of Kickstarter where I could see this project. I sure hope you reach your goal. I am curious, how does a local artist get onto your station and get heard, either a CD played, or live in the studio?

Thanks for the kind words guys. We're happy to provide such invaluable service to you and all of our listeners! We sincerely appreciate the support and we're looking forward to many more years of Live Music on WMSE. We wouldn't have it any other way. We may not be too big, but we are too darn awesome to fail!
Thanks again!

I have ALWAYS loved WMSE, and always will. Untold numbers of new bands, untold numbers of great songs, so many of which we NEVER would have known without you! AND the staunchest supporter of Milwaukee musicians and art we ever could have hoped for. We are always proud of you guys, and are always ready to help. Thanks for all the support over the years, and it's a pleasure to be able to help Billy get some new gear. Tyler

On March 21, 1992 I was proud to be the first MSOE student to receive the Everett B. Cobb Award... better known as the 'Cobby'. The time I spent with WMSE were some of the best years of my life and have remained with me to this day... I wish that I could have volunteered forever- which brings me to my 1st and only request for WMSE:
I ask all of you to pledge the amount you can before December 22. I, like many of you- do not want to see this great institution come to an end. This will help every DJ and the local & independent music that WMSE has supported in-turn for decades. I'd like to personally thank each of you in advance... if I see your name go up after mine on the 'Board of Backers', you can expect a personal 'gift' from Ras Dva Records and Negative Gain Productions as well.
If it weren't for WMSE and good people like Tom Crawford- I would have never had my start... Ras Dva Records would have never came into existence. I would have never been enriched with all that WMSE stood & stands for- promoting good music for decades to come!
This would make a wonderful Christmas gift... hint, hint. All the best, -Ric
