      Hello.. I'm very sorry, I got ahead of myself in my predictions of the time-frame that his project would take.

      Indeed, I created a fully playable game from scratch in a few short months... but I understand that the quality might not have been up to the par you may have expected. My friends and I had a lot of fun making up a crazy story and watching it grow into a playable game, but I would be surprised if the charm is universal. Due to my own oversight, the budget did not reflect the cost of shipping the physical rewards to a worldwide audience.

      I quickly learned that it is nearly impossible to design, program, market, package, and sell a video game all by myself.

      This was my first foray into the video game industry, and I believe honesty and integrity are the best way to deal with this issue. I take full responsibility for the fact that promises were not met, and I will be refunding everyone in full when I receive my student loans in January.

      After nearly ten years of flipping burgers, watching this project succeed convinced me to go back to college and finish my degree in Computer Science... Thank you all very much for giving me the confidence to help my dreams come true :)

      I will continue making free open-source multiplatform games, but I have learned that my game design skills are not yet at the point where I should be trying to "sell" my games. I have made a few other game demos since C^3, available at my website link to the right. Also, despite the cancelled Kickstarter campaign, I'm still hard at work on my "backwards RPG" Fall of Eternity, which will have a playable alpha available for Linux in December.

      Were the physical rewards ever sent out for this? It was mentioned in the last July update, but there haven't been any additional updates since then. Just making sure I didn't miss something!

      @Jonathan, that is a good idea.. I am new to this site and still figuring out the best ways to pitch my product... I went ahead and bumped up the boxed copy limit to 10. Before launching my next project, I'll also make sure to put a company and game logo in the trailer.

      If you want to raise more money, I suggest either adding more boxed copies or including an "early release of the game before public", that might entice more people in the final hours.

      I just donated. I wasn't able to give much because I'm pretty broke right now, but can I send you more after I get more money? The Kickstarter will probably be over by then, but this is incredible and needs all the support it can get.

      @ Jonathan, thank you very much, I'm pretty sure everything will pull through within the next few days :)

      @Mohammad - There is a game engine called SIO2, which works on iOS and Android and exports near flawlessly from the engine I'm using (BGE).... However, SIO2's professional licensing fee for portable devices is pretty expensive. I'm going to finish this game, then possibly start another Kickstarter to get support for a smartphone version.
