Update #11: VINYL ARRIVED SAFE
vinyl has arrived safely. no problems. except a train wreck.
now, we will begin shipping to you all. give us a little time to get organized, but it's all starting this week.
PHEW.
Update #10: Vinyl update 4.11.12.
The vinyl survived the train crash and will be delivered to us TODAY.

Update #9: Winterpills vinyl update #?? (we forget!)
Hello, donator-pals! this is an update of the project and where everything stands.
We'll do it FAQ-style:
1. WHERE IS THE VINYL?
I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is, it's FINISHED and being shipped to us where it was slated to arrive 4/11/12!
The bad news is, the train it is on HAS DERAILED AND CRASHED in Indiana somewhere, and UPS is trying to figure out if the vinyl was damaged or destroyed in any way.
We aren't even kidding.
If the vinyl is ok, they'll just get it on another train and ship it out, and we will hopefully know that today (4.10) sometime. If the news is worse, well..... we'll deal with that as we go.
2. WHAT'S UP WITH ALL THE OTHER STUFF?
In a nutshell: it's all ready to go, just waiting for the vinyl. We wanted to save money shipping by doing things all at once, otherwise we would have have shipped stuff out separately.
So, I guess there were only 2 questions in our FAQ. If you have more, please don't hesitate to contact us. You are always on our minds.

Update #8: winterpills vinyl update
Hello, everyone! We just got back from SXSW and the deep south and really need to eat a salad, or something that isn't beige. Maybe later, though. These sausage biscuits I filled my knapsack with aren't gonna eat themselves!
Word is in from France (where they are pressing our album) that the finished vinyl should be in our hands the first week of April. We will ship post-haste at that point, with all your goodies.
For real!!

Starting with their self-titled debut in 2005, Winterpills have built a vibrant career with their exquisite chamber-pop songs that The Washington Post called “densely packed but hugely evocative, tiny bombs of feeling and meaning… fiendishly melodic”, attracting fans from their native New England to the Netherlands and beyond.
They may be one of the most exciting bands to emerge from Northampton, Massachusetts in recent years. They play haunting, delicate, dynamic, room-hushingly beautiful music with shimmering melodies and aching lyrics. Fronted by singers Philip Price and Flora Reed, they harmonize closely, often and gorgeously.
They have released four records to critical acclaim and have grown into “a band that is only becoming more essential” (The Hartford Courant). Their fifth release, 'All My Lovely Goners', is due on February 14, 2012. The New York Times wrote this about their last release, the 2010 EP 'Tuxedo of Ashes':, “Around Mr. Price’s gentle voice and the picking of his guitar or banjo, Winterpills gradually builds elegant arrangements steeped in 1960s folk-pop and rootsy rock, hinting at Simon and Garfunkel and Fairport Convention. While the gathered instruments offer some solace, the songs stay haunted.”
In addition to touring, Winterpills’ music has been used in numerous television shows including the hit ABC show Grey’s Anatomy and the U.K. series Skins. They have shared the stage with such notable and diverse artists as Vampire Weekend, CAKE, Grant-Lee Phillips, St. Vincent, Lisa Germano, Juana Molina, Crowded House, Fountains of Wayne, Martha Wainwright, Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, and The Mountain Goats.
