This is so inspiring, Darrel. Thank you for being there for your kids. We hear from a lot of people in Japan that they are excited about it for the same reasons. We are working as fast as we can to be able to establish a lasting windowfarms community in Japan. Thank you so much for sharing your story. It makes it all worthwhile!

Hope for my children growing up in Japan’s radioactive environment
My wife and I have three young boys and have had to use a limited number of online food companies who test food at pre TEPCO Fukushima radiation levels. We have a small international school northwest of Tokyo and Window Farms has long been an example of how we can take steps to for our children’s future. The new window farm makes the project more accessible for my students’ families and the NPO we coordinate with. It is our goal to raise a generation of hydroponic farmers and develop larger scale vertical operations with our school and community. Window Farms is the right idea at the right time. Thank you for being there for us.
