1st Casting Announcement!
We are so unbelievably thrilled that ANNIE SERTICH has joined the cast and will be playing the explosive role of SCOUT LEADER!
For those of you who haven't read the script, the SCOUT LEADER is a professional soccer mom who also dabbles in mixed martial arts. She runs a Girl Scout Troop (Troop 1323) and is extremely protective of the two dozen or so girls she oversees. Since cookie season is one of the busiest times of the year, the Scout Leader is on edge in a major way. After doing the accounting from a weekend sales run, she discovers that two of her scouts were swindled and decides to take matters into her own hands.
Annie is a Main Company member of the famed Groundlings theater where she performs, directs, and teaches sketch comedy and improv. Currently she is a staff writer on the MTV show RIDICULOUSNESS, will appear in Nick Cannon's new sketch show called CLASS CLOWNS on Cartoon Network this spring, and has numerous national commercials running. Other credits include: CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, THE GUILD, BUCKET AND SKINNER'S EPIC ADVENTURES, HUNG, THE OFFICE, FRANK TV, A YOUNG PERSON'S GUIDE and web projects like FOX's SINGLE DAD and COMMUNITY POOL. She also lent her voice to ABC FAMILY, AMERICAN IDOL, and can he heard on the radio as the voice of a ditsy cow. Other writing credits include: THE REPLACEMENTS,(Disney), KATBOT (Disney), ROB DYRDEK'S FANTASY FACTORY (MTV), CRAM, (Game Show Network), ULTIMATE FILM FANATIC (IFC pilot), ABC Family (web), and THE ADVENTURES OF JOLLY BLAST (pilot).
