About this project
Hey everybody! I just finished hundreds of hours writing, recording, and mixing my tenth album, and am thrilled to finally share the fruits of my labors with you. I'm equally excited to send it out to a few hundred radio stations for airplay and press outlets for review, but this costs money. The process entails manufacturing cds, purchasing an adequate amount of padded mailers, and footing hundreds of dollars in postage. For this reason, I'm turning to you for help. But no donation goes unawarded! There are tons of pledge levels and some great rewards when you kick in. Enjoy the songs, and thank you very much for making this project a reality!

When he was 12 years old, William Steffey received a 4-track recorder as a birthday gift. Six years later he recorded his first album, "Up On The Rock", which featured hard rock guitars, new-age keyboards, a dance beat, and jazz progressions.
Over the next two decades, these disparate musical styles would congeal into the original hybrid-pop sound that William is known for today.
In 2012, William will release his tenth album, called "Kid Ghosts".
