About this project
With gas being over four dollars a gallon and projected to rise even higher as the year progresses, our three week summer tour is threatening to become a financial impossibility. This isn't even factoring in the money we have to spend out of pocket on shirts, cds/tapes, stickers, pins, patches, posters and whatever else we feel our "fans" or friends might enjoy having.
We want it to be understood, however, that in almost all instances we do not support asking for money outright. It has never been a personal philosophy or goal in this band to get people to fund our endeavours, and until now any and all adventure(s) has been from our pockets and we've never profited a single dime, nor shall we on this tour.
It's a simple matter of breaking even, of being able to experience the sights and thrills of the road without the fear of having to come home. In the small space/ "diy" community that we proudly associate ourselves with it is an unfortunate truth that money is hard to come by and often non existent. Half the shows we play are free or "donations based" and our usual take home is anywhere from ten to thirty bucks. This, also unfortunately, barely gives our van a quarter tank of gas. Normally, for our Midwest shows anyways, this isn't a terrible concern: we're lucky enough to have supportive parents, good jobs, and a general disinterest in profiting from our passion... not to mention extremely awesome friends here or there that go above and beyond. But this is in relation to one, maybe two shows at most on a weekend, not three weeks of constant shows, constant driving, and the constant need of money.
None of us are rich, none of our family's are rich, and none of us can afford to pay for this tour out of our pockets. Please consider donating if you could, it would mean the absolute world to us. Check out the rewards, check out our EP, check us out and see if we're worth your time and money.
Extremely excited to see everyone this summer and play our songs for you, let's hope we scrounge up enough dollars to make it all happen!

NO!! The project will be going on until June 20th, and the more money we can raise the better. Remember, the more money we get here the cheaper everything will be on tour/after tour.

Keep in mind when the project ends, as long as we have met the $1000 goal, we have to incur amazon/kickstarter fees, the actual cost of printing the limited edition shirts/deluxe eps, and then the shipping costs.
