It is with great joy that I report our goal has been met!  Huzzah.  With seven days left, we are so thankful to everyone who has spread the word and been so supportive.  Every little bit helps and as we load in to the theatre on monday, we will do so with a slightly more relaxed bounce in our step knowing that we have our funds in place.

Today's exciting adventure in making the Life of Death was in prop shopping.  Ms. Michaela Petro and I have been on the hunt for the elusive blue shopping basket.  Our intrepid adaptor wrote a scene in a Tesco supermarket...so we need to outfit some shoppers.  Well these buggers are tricky to find.  Luckily I stumbled across them at ye olde Staples. Yee haw.  Did you know that you can also get caution tape, danger tape, and surgical masks at Staples?  Well you can.  I just ordered them.  And rubber gloves.  Lots of rubber gloves.  Tomorrow we make the ever popular "blood order".  Our favorite brand is MEL blood.  Hard as heck to find but comes out of costumes like a champion and looks fantastically disgusting.  

And because we are crafty artists, it looks like one of my living room armchairs will be making its Chicago stage debut.  The cats will not be pleased but that chair is perfect for the show.  Sorry kitties.
