About this project
Azamar is an elaborate world that presents a unique setting for gamers to experience. It is a standalone world that uses the Cinema6 RPG Framework and OpenD6 for dice foundations and mechanics.
Azamar will complete as a 200-page sourcebook with plenty of information, including unique sections on geography, history, bestiary, pantheon, guide on important vegetation, an introductory adventure, and a whole slew of character customization features.

Additional materials will follow the initial release of the Azamar Sourcebook as quarterly journals that cover the various places to go and people to meet across the vast world.
Currently the sourcebook is at around 120 pages. We are finishing and proofing the pantheon and heroes and villains sections as we expect to do some last minute work in these areas to include higher pledges for these areas. We are also getting the art gathered and organized fit into place and so the layout is polished off.
We need artwork from our artists, and while they do some work as time permits for us, they do have full-time jobs. We want to buy more of their time, so this kickstarter project is primarily here to help fund their original artwork for the publication.
A portion of the funding will also go to help the publishing of the limited release of Azamar in print as a hard cover, including a poster map of the world, dice, and some personalized, original artwork done by our artists. The limited edition hard cover will include a foiled cover and likely a box. The inner fold of the front and back of the book will be a full-color map of the world as well. The limited edition hard cover will also not include an ISBN, but will include signatures.
When we hit our funding goal and go to release, a limited run of the PDFs will be given to pledges at the appropriate pledge level. We do not plan to release Azamar in electronic format for at least a year after completion, so the PDF/electronic copies will be a unique and limited run, and will have an attached ISBN.
When we exceed our goal, we will do a short run of soft-cover printings, making them commercially available earlier than planned. The soft cover will have an attached ISBN, and will be the first commercially available version of the Azamar Role Playing Game sourcebook. Pledgers will have the first pick of these if get them, and they will have access to them at a discount. The retail price of these books is yet to be determined.
