NAILgasm is headed to New York for a major FILM FESTIVAL, but not without your help.
The average film costs $35.9 million to market. From day one, NAILgasm: The Nail Art Documentary, has had a marketing budget of $0.00. I’ve never been able to afford a publicist, a marketing team, a billboard, a bus ad, or any of the traditional marketing methods you see while out and about in the world. Nothing! So how does one market a film with no money? With the kindness and generosity of amazing supporters like YOU! Otherwise, without courageous supporters of the arts like YOU, only the elite or well-connected get exposure, and the underserved remain just that, under-served.

If you’ve ever needed a reason to pat yourselves on the back, this is it. Your support has helped NAILgasm beat seemingly insurmountable odds in the film world, and we’re not done yet.
On September 21, 2013, NAILgasm: The Nail Art Documentary will make its theatrical debut in New York in front of Urbanworld’s film festival audience of respected journalists, filmmakers, film distributors and network executives from BET, HBO and more. (will provide a link to tickets soon)
Now I need your support more than ever.
While the festival is providing the theater NAILgasm will be screened in, it’s up to us to generate all the buzz we can. Additionally, there are some hard costs to cover that I will be running a small fundraiser for, with awesome incentives of course.
This time around, my goal is to raise $1,500 to cover the cost of travel and marketing materials like movie posters, flyers, t-shirts and any other promotional items I can think of. The more buzz we generate, the more influential people from the film industry we can get at the screening and hopefully see NAILgasm on Netflix or network television some day.
