We did it! After 35 days, we raised $4,851 on Kickstarter for God of Blades! We're stunned and humbled over all the support and attention we received over this past month, and the White Whale team would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who has supported us in any way. Whether you donated to the Kickstarter, shared the link, or even just mentioned God of Blades and White Whale to someone, know that you have been a tremendous help to our production. Y'all are all a part of the production of God of Blades now, and an important part of White Whale.
For those in Austin, as a token of our thanks, we'd like to invite you to a preview party for God of Blades at Dive Bar (1703 Guadalupe Street) on January 12th at 8pm. More details will be unveiled in the coming week, but get ready for a shindig full of fun music, good drinks, and some White Whale swag. A very big thanks to Dive Bar for offering their bar to us for the evening!
Our Kickstarter was a tremendous success. Money aside, Kickstarter served as a fantastic way to show off our project to new audiences. During our Kickstarter, God of Blades was featured in a number of articles, and we received emails and tweets of support from all over the world! Kickstarter is not only a great way to raise money for a creative project, it's an amazing way to promote your project internationally. We couldn't be happier with the outcome of our Kickstarter. Get ready to see some amazing God of Blades new and previews in the coming months (if you haven't already, consider following us on Twitter, or like us on Facebook.).

Great! Finally a backer/preview party that I am close enough to actually attend...no Bay Area or Seattle or wherever.... I look forward to more details and seeing you guys there in January.
