This is a great resource for Bay Area opera and music lovers. Joshua Korman, the Chron's music critic, called their last production "Superb...Funny and touching, and graced with a combination of musical elegance and theatrical inventiveness." It's what drew me to them. He went on: "The company has undertaken a fresh and provocative approach to the operatic repertoire, without sacrificing anything in the way of musical values or seriousness of purpose."

The Manga Flute is going to be more of the same, a real treat.
