A paintball documentary. Going to one of the largest scenario games and showing paintball culture on and off the field.
Paintball has been an evolving sport since 1981. This will be a snapshot in time of the current state of the game, where it's been, and where it's going.
Living Legends 5 is a scenario game taking place May 18-20th of this year. It attracts not only players from all over the world, but also several of the literal legends of the sport who helped make it what it is today. LL5 is a unique opportunity to capture all the aspects of paintball in one location.
Our goal for this kickstarter is to create a documentary of the game right now using the event as a framework. There will be interviews with the legends of the game, along with on-field footage in "first person camera" where you see the action as it unfolds. Our crew will be minimal.
The funds will mostly be going into travel to and from the event, as well as equipment maintenance. Post event, the funds will be used for music rights, as well as production costs. Our goal is to have a final product online by June 2012. The video will be free to view, and will be available for anyone to share with their friends on social media.
