We are truly humbled by the response to GUSTIN so far. The passion people have shown for our perspective on quality, community involvement, and wholesale pricing has been great. We are nowhere near done - you should be pumped for the future.
Taking notice
Our basic promise to redefine premium menswear continues to strike a chord. Today, Put This On and Wefty + Mash both covered GUSTIN. While in LA, we were invited to participate on CBS's Business Rockstars radio show hosted by Ken Rutkowski. We don’t have a recording yet, but we’ll let you know when we do. Ken was gracious enough to talk to us off air as well about our larger vision for GUSTIN AND he was the final buyer around midnight who pushed us over the $100,000 mark!
Roadtrip is what it's all about
We were like kids in a candy store today! Getting up at 3am - not so fun. Spending five hours looking at selvage denim - best time in the world. We posted limited availability fabrics for you right from the factory floor. We stuffed 19 rolls of denim into our rental car for the drive back to SF. Huge props to Afonso Salcedo for capturing the experience and riding back to SF with rolls of denim in his lap! Check out the day's highlights:
New Core Fabric - 12.5oz Organic Cone Mills Selvage Denim
GUSTIN launched on Kickstarter with an All-American product. This was an amazing 13.5oz selvage denim from Cone Mills. Now, we're introducing a new fabric to take it's place going forward in our core line of fabrics -- Organic Cone Mills selvage denim! When we found this fabric, we knew it had to be part of the GUSTIN line. Organic denim is extremely hard to find. This is a broken twill selvage in 12.5oz with a very inky finish. It has a green selvage ID. We're making pairs in this fabric for our personal collection. Effective immediately, THE STANDARD will be the new normal reward, and THE DOUBLE STANDARD will be the reward for two of them. Still shipping in April.

THE NATURAL INDIGO. Sanforized Japanese selvage denim, natural indigo plant dye, 13 oz weight. This unique denim comes from one of the most highly regarded mills in Japan and is no longer being run in production. Natural indigo plant dye is rarely used today and is quite pricey. The shade of this fabric is a lighter blue. We’ve used this denim before and it’s pretty sweet. Hand-numbered and signed. Same cut, same sizes, same uncompromising quality. The design is exactly the same, the only difference is the denim.
THE STANDARD / THE DOUBLE STANDARD use a lighter denim made of 100% organic cotton, with a green selvage id.
THE REGULAR / DOUBLE / QUAD use a slightly heavier denim, with a red selvage id.
We'll try to get comparison pictures up as soon as possible.
