Update #5: Gridfest begins tonight!
Thanks again everyone for making this happen. People are arriving in Santa Fe and we begin at Corazon tonight. For those that cant make it in person, we will stream the event tonight as well as Saturday and hopefully Sunday here:

Update #4: Less than a week out!
Hey everyone. Just another THANK YOU!!!! We're going live on Friday and we couldnt have done it without you.
Be sure to visit gridfestival.com for our schedule and if you're not going to be in town, we'll be streaming audio on Friday night and both audio and video Saturday night. We might be streaming audio from our super secret after party on Sunday, but this remains to be seen.

Update #3: Thank You
Thanks so much for helping to make this event in Santa Fe happen. 19 more hours to go and we're over the goal. All proceeds over the goal will go directly into the event expenses or the artists pockets after expenses. It takes alot to make this kind of thing happen and we thank you so so much for helping to make it a reality!!!

This will be an event unlike any I've seen in Santa Fe (though I've only been here just shy of 3 years) and will be made possible though your enthusiasm.

Watson is Frank Watson Rose IV. Currently living in Santa Fe, NM, he began making music of the electronic variety after discovering the monome in 2009. The sheer audacity of creating a device that dosent actually do anything was what impressed him so much. He started making music in 1990 after picking up a guitar, quitting, and learning drums. He has played in bands in Seattle and Houston, from grunge to punk to ska with names such as The Housewives Choice, Toilet Bowl C Monkeys, The NicOteens, and Tu Madre. Frank eventually moved on to hand drums and then left music entirely to pursue an art degree until said monome discovery in 2009.
Watson released his first solo EP in January 2011 with remixes from other prominent monomers Edison (San Francisco), Making the Noise (Boston), i am genko (Lima), Maersk (London) and TheAlphaNerd (Toronto).
