Wonderful! Mister Rogers had and still has an amazing affect on people, just last week, my daughter and I where in the car driving some where and suddenly she said "mommy Mr Rogers is dead isn't he? I replied that he was and she was quiet for a little while, then she asked "why is his show still on?" I thought about that for about a half second, I and asked" you like watching Mr Rogers even though you are 8 and don't want any one to know right? " silence, No!.... then she said yes I like Mr Rogers, I said so do I, and that is why, so that more children can see Mr Rogers, so we can pass it down see? Thank you for passing the words he gave you down in your movie hope I can see it when it comes out.

Wow, I just now realized it was Mr. Rogers...I feel so dumb. I watched his show for so long as a little kid...I had a nostalgia moment after realizing that this was about him. Congratulations on reaching your goal, and I can't wait to see the film!

So excited for you...what a great project. We've been huge fans of Mr. Rogers for years and have connections to Pittsburgh as well (even got to tour his set long, long ago)- such a special man. Found out about Kickstarter backing Tara St James and now my daughter has a project on as well (Jasmine McGlade), but just HAD to donate to you! All the best.

Although I joined kickstarter because I'm broke myself and trying to fund my band's album, I couldn't pass up the chance to help spread the wonderful words of Mister Rogers, as he has been a huuuuge influence on my life (his calming voice would put me to sleep as a kid, but the older I get the more I grasped just how accurate his messages were).

Can't wait to see it! Be sure to keep us all informed about whats happening, okay?

ps. Also, if you have the use for it, I would absolutely love to donate my band's cover of one of Mister Rogers classic songs?

Good Luck and thank you for making a film about my hero, Fred Rogers. He has meant so much to me -from a little girl watching everyday to a mom, when I started crying at the sight of him when he came on TV right after 9/11 to help guide parents in talking to their children about the scary events. I put a link on my facebook page so I am hoping some of my friends will also donate.
