About this project

We are over halfway there. I've put together a brand new pitch video, and geared up for the final push. Solomon Grundy is coming to life the facts
I made a good project with $250. I'd like to make a spectacular project with more. See what I can do with a little, then help me prove what I can do with a lot. I'm 19 years old. I've got a plan, watch my proof of concept, and help me run with it.
www.wackeychan.com I make movies. Three features, and a lot of short films. I'm now taking on a few projects I'm very proud of, and would like to make them as good as they possibly can be. Though I am working to fund six short films, it comes as one project.

It's kind of a proof of concept. The film was shot on an extremely low budget in a day and a half. I would like the opportunity to take the characters, the world, and the tone that I've hit on, and really enjoy, and take off with it.

It's from my work in Solomon Grundy that I hope to take off with this project and complete several more 'episodes' based off of the nursery rhyme... Solomon Grundy, born on a Monday
Christened on a Tuesday,
Married on a Wednesday,
Took ill on a Thursday,
Grew worse on a Friday,
Died on a Saturday,
Buried on a Sunday
This is the end of Solomon Grundy
Each verse has it's own episode. They are not chronological, and interweave time and place, with characters coming in and out of the story. At the very end the whole series will be boxed up into an excellent DVD complete with special features. Deluxe editions come with a special production book. Read the rewards for more. I began making short films around the age of seven. in high school i began to think bigger, and in those four years, shot three feature films, popcorn lifestyle, twice as young, and the projectionist, the latter of which has shown publicly in several movie theaters on the east coast. i am currently a sophomore at SUNY Purchase's film conservatory, and am primarily based in the new york city area, though i still work all along the east coast. an avid blogger, web designer, and viral marketer, i am always looking for new ways to promote my work.
