THE PROJECT

After years of cluttering the kitchen counter with mail, keys, and wallets, we at Vuur were determined to create an organizer to keep those things out of the way but easily accessible. Going beyond most wall hooks, Hang Up wall organizer hangs jackets, scarves, bags, and hats as well as holding gloves, wallets, cellphones, mail, books, cds, and even spare change. The slim design is perfect for behind doors and tight spaces. Constructed of steel and coated with a durable powder coat finish, it is made to last. Made in the Midwest

THE PROCESS

Conceptualized through sketches and brainstorming, it was then brought into CAD software. Once the design was refined, we created four prototypes to test. We tested size, steel thickness, and overall aesthetics. Lucky for us, the prototypes worked well and only had minor changes. We are now in the process of working out manufacturing efficiencies to cut costs and to get this project kick started. The wall organizer will be fabricated locally to ensure our vision is achieved and to support our community.

OUR COMPANY

Vuur designs and manufactures modern furniture and accessories. Started in 2011 by a pure passion for design, this up-and-coming Minnesota company needs your help with our first small run production of the Hang Up wall organizer.
