Following the footsteps of my self funded music video for "I Lie Pretty", I am looking to create a high-caliber, fun, and artistic music video on a shoe-string budget. Don't think we can do it? : ) We did "I Lie Pretty" for far less than our current funding goal, we'll let you be the judge. You can watch it here: www.iliepretty.com.
Our goal is to shoot a high definition video suitable for international airwaves and then get it placed in rotation on a slew of music television stations and video websites across the world to help support our upcoming album. I want to stand a foot above the videos you've seen released by the record industry lately and I've amassed the team to do it. Now, I'm looking to you to help cover equipment, stage, insurance, and lighting costs. Don't worry, I'm putting in my own cash too, but I can't afford it all as... I'm a musician. And I give most of my music away for free.
So, I'm keeping the pledge goal reasonable, but let's shoot for beyond it! With Kickstarter, there's no limit to what we can raise. Following the album release, any money earned above and beyond the video goal will be used to market the album via targeted online and radio promotion.
