Leila Jarman (Director/Producer) is a recent graduate of Marymount Manhattan College in New York City with a B.A degree in Political Science with an emphasis on Middle Eastern Studies. Being the daughter of an Iranian in exile, Leila has felt intrinsically connected to the rich history and people of the Middle East and views documentary filmmaking to be the most accessible means of educating the global community on issues concerning this region of the world. Leila hopes to use her education and background to export a message of tolerance, knowledge and respect for the Middle East while utilizing the advantages of living in Western society to propel the movement of human rights internationally.
