Overview

As covered in the video, the world of BURN is familiar to anyone who has ever worked an unpleasant job, but this is taken to an extreme concept future, where ordinary people regularly snap and go on a killing spree. This comic book is for readers aged 18+ only, it is a VERY graphic novel!

The Artwork

Chapter 1 was pencilled and inked by the amazing Spanish artist, Carlos Trigo. You may know him from other comics like the recently successfully funded KickStarter comic book project 'Crimson Society', which I was proud to be one of the backers of myself. Some of Carlos' artwork for BURN is displayed below.

The Project

I love reading comics, so I wanted to get a full chapter finished and available for everyone to read at the project launch stage, so that you could see exactly what you will be getting if you pre-order the full graphic novel. I hope that you can join me and help 'kick start' the project of publishing BURN with crowd funding. So go read Chapter 1, then if you like it, back in on KickStarter!

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter

Once the project is fully funded, the production process will begin. Every stage of the comic book production process is fully planned out and the deals have been struck with the relevant people. My script for the full comic paperback is ready to rock, the art will once again be handled by the mighty Spaniard Carlos Trigo who has more than enough comics experience to complete the job, the colour, speech bubbles and effects will again be provided by Red Scarf Productions who are graphic novel veterans and the actual printing will be handled by a US based company, who specialise in comics production, shipping worldwide. Everything is costed, the agreements have been finalised and my collaborators have put the necessary time aside to meet my targets. So when the KickStarter project is funded, the full paperback of BURN will be finished and you will get your copy! Let’s make this happen!
