I want to wish you and your crew minimal obstacles and plain good luck on this 'battle' for truth and your LABOUR of LOVE. Congratulations!
Also Ryan, in terms of why we were able to pull off this campaign in such a short time, there is a tremendous amount of good will around this project, a lot of it from supporters of my previous films, which really made it possible. And people seem very moved by the theme of the film: how can the climate crisis become a great love story? Most of the energy was raised through facebook - where the campaign went totally viral this weekend.... I'll check out your project. And I'll kick in something myself!!!

Hey Ryan... not sure exactly where it was at a week ago but the whole campaign was only 3 weeks. This was because of the Climate Summit deadline. So what happened I imagine was a ramp up of awareness of the campaign, and then a sense of excitement and urgency towards the end....it's actually pretty amazing that we pulled this off in 3 weeks!!!

Our friend, Brady Karlin, met you awhile back in New Zealand I believe, and he turned us onto your films...simply incredible. We've launched a kickstarter campaign to help finish funding our doc - www.withinreachmovie.com. Curiously, one of my team members said you only had $3K in pledges a week ago....is that correct? If so, how in the world did you exceed your goal? Wildly impressed with your work, and hope to be in touch as fellow filmmakers.
