A strange glowing face once smiled up at a boy from the bottom of a polluted lake. Now older and alone, the man obsesses over seeing it again.
Hi there! First off, please check the video above to get a feel for the themes and visuals of the film.
In my experience, there doesn't seem to be a good place where thoughtful animated short films can thrive or find people willing to pay a little $ to view them. For indie animators, It kind of feels like the options are either toil independently in near-poverty OR make advertisements. Things could be worse I guess, but its not exactly inspiring.
Now with the generous help of Kickstarter, I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to connect with friends and family and strangers (hello!) who enjoy a good animated short story. Your money would help my wife and I pay the bills while I animate and allow me the breathing room I'd need to tell this story to the best of my ability. In return, you get something you hopefully treasure for a good long while! Plus you might even get warm fuzzies, and those can be nice.
Thanks for taking the time to check this out!
