Four Mexicans and a young Salvadorian wait for someone, even the border patrol, to open their sealed boxcar in the insufferable heat.
This film is based on the play "Boxcar" written by Silvia Gonzalez S. With the cast of 7 men and the locales of only two places, I intend on renting out an office space and an actual boxcar to accurately tell the story of these men. Most of the equipment I already have (or am in the process of acquiring) however the funds raised will go toward the space rentals for filming and the theater in which to screen it.

The first draft of the script has been completed and reviewed by the playwright. I am currently making more adjustments but very near to having a completed, workable script.
I currently have the film cast. A lighting designer just signed on as well as a composer.
In the process of acquiring a film-grade camera and scouting locations.
This much progress is really exciting and there will much more in the near future. There's only 7 weeks left to pledge!
