We Made It!
Hi backers, just wanted to send a quick update and a massive thanks for the incredible support that has happened over the past week.
As of today, we're happy to announce that we made our initial funding goal! We never imagined being able to get so far so quickly, and it's all thanks to the 330+ people who have contributed to make the First Bus Map of Dhaka a reality. Albert always says that the best things happen as a result of a 'million little strokes', so each of your contributions quickly added up within just six days of launching!
We just wanted to let y'all know that whatever we raise beyond our initial funding goal will be directly applied to increasing the number of maps we can see on the ground once Urban Launchpad and Kewkradong meet up this January. We already plan to exceed our modest initial projection of 1,000 paper maps, so please keep sharing the project with people you know that would be interested in supporting.
