Any news then? Are the Hartels affecting things much?

Thanks to Urban Launchpad for this much needed initiative. I wish the Department of Transportation in Bangladesh also extends their helping hands to ensure the success of this project. Please consider to do the same for the second most crowded city in Bangladesh, Chittagong, where the situations are as bad as Dhaka. Along with other benefits, It will help to increase tourism in Chittagong.

First, I should thank you all for this great initiative. I was born and brought up in Dhaka and spent nearly 17 years commuting from one part of the city to other on bus. I definitely know how important it could be :)
Just one quick note, from the pictures on the project page, I found that the typesetting on Bangla fonts printed on the sample maps were wrong. Did you have a chance to correct that already?
Creator Rezwan Alauddin on January 1
Great initiative guys, always wanted to help with urban transport projects in Dhaka. If you guys need assistance in Dhaka with logistics or printing the maps once they're complete, please get in touch.

Great project, best of luck!

Being raised in Kathmandu, similar issues but nowhere close to the crowding in Dhaka, I feel this is an insanely amazing project. Good luck!
Creator Fred Roy on December 26
Best of luck to the Urban Launchpad team for this attempt at putting some order in this organized chaos that is life in Dhaka!

Wow--you are almost at your goal. Not too surprising--this is a very worthwhile, innovative project. Keep up the good work.

Pretty awesome what you've set out to do! Dhaka traffic is insane ! It's only gotten worse over the years.

Why is this not provided by the state / council / local authority? Or alternatively backed by the various bus companies? Can't help but think that your good idea and best intentions should already be redundant!
Creator Ken Waldron on December 20
Excellent idea. Glad to contribute. As noted it is likely I may not get to Dhaka for some time, but if I do I'll feel more confident having a map of the bus system.
