Hey all! Wanted to send a quick photo of the shirts (see below), which I just got in today. I'm wearing women's small and holding a men's medium. I can't wear this shirt since it's ME and that's a huge faux pas, but you can! (If you ordered one. If not, chances are slim since I only printed a couple extra in each size.)

I'm waiting on a shipment of padded mailers & address labels, and the printing of such labels, but hope to have things off to everyone next week, with the help of my lovely mother. If your address (or shirt size) has changed since you filled out your backer survey, please inform orders@unmediated.net

A very kind friend has offered to help with the sending of download codes -- in the past, I've simply put a zip of the album on my server and sent a link to all kickstarter backers, but now that Bandcamp allows you to add purchases to your collection and share with friends, I want you all to have legit download codes. You will get that in the next few days at whatever email address you gave me.

Hello beloved backers,

I know it's been way too long. I was getting the album to press, working on graphics for everything, and traveling (getting into ALL kinds of adventures in New Orleans and on the Steampunk Cruise!)

I promised you t-shirt previews along the way, and didn't provide them, and I thank you all deeply for your faith in me. 

Here's the mockup that the shirt company sent me. I am sure it will look more like a real t-shirt in real life. I drew the tree and my mom, Kat Mulkey, polished up the image in Illustrator. I only ordered enough for kickstarter backers (with a small handful of extras in case people need different sizes) so those of you getting them are very special!

And here's a mockup of the new USB design -- it will look even cooler in real life -- it has a glowing blue LED when plugged in. 

Over at the bandcamp page (backers at $5+ will be getting full download codes in the next couple of weeks) you can preview two extra songs, "Kids" by MGMT and "Werewolf" by CocoRosie, which features a cameo by Rodney Anonymous:  http://unwoman.bandcamp.com/album/lemniscate-uncovered-volume-2

Hello cherished backers!

I've just returned from a 2-week visit to Chicago (the trip was mostly for personal reasons, but I also shot footage for a video for "The Snowstorm.") It's going to take me a while to catch up to my inbox, but today I got some desperately needed aerial silks practice (I'm terrible at it, but it feels wonderful) and some California sun on my legs. It's green and flowery here and I can't believe I ever thought of moving away. Tonight I'm guest-celloing with Vernian Process at the Uptown in Oakland, which is bound to be a blast.

I wanted to give you a quick update on when you should expect backer surveys, rewards, etc. 

In the next couple days I'll send out your backer surveys. Please answer those as quickly as possible -- I'll need an idea of t-shirt sizes before I can even order things -- and if your address changes between now & April just write me at orders@unmediated.net to let me know of the change. 

My schedule for the next few months is like this:

-By March 1: have mixes for all 15 tracks on Lemniscate to my mastering guy, Da5id at Corrosive Audio (who's mastered all my albums) -- ALSO, design t-shirt graphics and place an order for t-shirts (I have an idea in my brain that will be REALLY COOL... if it still looks good once it's outside my brain) -- ALSO: pay for all licensing through songclearance.com

-March 1-8: do album graphics (all line-art, no photos) and layout, which will be really simple because it's just black ink on cardboard sleeves (I'm now thinking of adding gold ink, though.)

-March 11: send Lemniscate to A to Z Media for pressing AND ALSO place an order for the new style USB drives through ipromo.com (who I'm using instead of customusb because of the debacle last time) and send them all the data for ALL my albums for pre-load

-March 12: head to New Orleans for the Steampunk Cruise and various other shenanigans

-March 26: return to the Bay Area and get to work on the song poems I owe people from the LAST kickstarter, not this one 

-Early-mid April: get CDs, USBs, t-shirts delivered to me and start the massive mailing, with the help of my fabulous Merch Momma and possibly some other friends; upload the digital version of Lemniscate for all backers $5+

-End of April - mid-May: will be in NYC area for some shows (this is one of them, in New Jersey:  http://thetwistedworld.com/tickets/ ), fun, and maybe working on a secret musical project...

-Summer 2013: work on the stretch-goal bonus EP (which I'm just calling Uncovered 2.5 for now), travel a bunch for conventions, and record some original things

-Fall 2013: work on songpoems for Lemniscate's $120-level backers, which I've promised to have to people by November; record some original things

-Late 2013: another original album? An album of songpoems? I don't know. THERE'S NO FATE BUT WHAT WE MAKE FOR OURSELVES.

When I added two packages at the $101 level a few days ago, they got pledged for within five minutes. Since we've hit $14,000 (and may hit $15,000) I'll need two more request songs from you guys! But funding ends in 4 hours, so act fast.

Also, since funding ends in 4 hours, now is an excellent time to tell your friends about this for one last chance. Thank you SO MUCH for making this yet another tremendously successful campaign!
