Umbrella Tree is a trio from Nashville, TN who banded together in the summer of 2005. (From left to right in photo) Jillian Leigh sings and tickles the keys, Derek Pearson plays drums, and Zachary Gresham sings and plays guitar and bass. They have released three full-length albums along with a digital download of acoustic renditions. Their music has been described as progressive rock, gothic musical theatre, and bohemian bookworm pop. Umbrella Tree shows are intense and exhilarating opportunities for nerdy people to meet one another.
