SECOND GOAL REACHED! lets see if we can get to 500!, that is only 84 more dollars! I will be able to print more copies and promote and celebrate the book with a party!

REACHED THE GOAL! Now I can print 100 copies of this book. If I can raise 150 more dollars, I will be able to not only get the book out to stores in other cities, but get the word out! 

I started writing poetry in my head around the same time I first started experiencing mental illness. Because of this, these two things have become inseparably intertwined for me. 

I believe our culture needs more honest and empowering stories about mental illness. My goal with this project is to share my stories with everybody. Shadows and Spikes is a collection of about 30 of my poems and drawings that deal with pain, hope, fear and living with mental illness.

As you can see, I am not asking for a lot of money. I want to make this project as affordable and accessible as possible, so I am just asking for what I need to print 100 copies of Shadows and Spikes. Any extra money raised will go toward printing more copies and promoting the collection.
