Keith Hennessy & Circo Zero are seeking $11,000 to support the making and touring of Turbulence (a dance about the economy).
Turbulence is a bodily response to economic crisis; an unstable performance under the influence of queer & Occupy.
Challenging economic collapse and contraction, Turbulence is being made in 3 countries (USA, France, Germany) with an intentionally large (paid) cast that welcomes even more people into the project at each venue.
Spending time in diverse countries, economies and artistic contexts is central to the making of the work. European residency sites have generously offered half of all expenses for the cast to spend four weeks in creative residencies in Europe this summer. We're asking you - friends, fans, family - to support the other half.
Our biggest costs are transatlantic airfare and artist fees, which we are trying to hold at $600-700 per week for 10-14 artists.

Object: One of a kind artist book using Naomi Klein's Shock Doctrine, created on tour in multiple countries, by various members of the cast, journaling/drawing/cutouts/collage/memories...this will be rad.
