About this project
Tunnels of Love is a feature erotic comedy shot entirely in the NYC subway trains and station platforms.
The plot centers on couples who get off by making love in public, interspersed with various other character offshoots, examining their relationships to each other and to the transit system.
One of the central couples are George and Suzie, young professionals who can only get off by pretending to be strangers. When Suzie's mother gets cancer, it is her dying wish to see her grandchild. Now it is imperative that Suzie gets pregnant, but when it doesn't turn out to be as easy as it sounds, stress begins to pile up between her and George. They switch to other more involved techniques, such as role playing characters from old movies.
Your generous donations will pay for MetroCards for our actors, costumes and the equipment necessary to make this film happen.
Note: As of April 2009, it became legal to shoot video in the subway system. The only catch is there are limits on crew size, and tripods, lights and boom microphones are prohibited. This means that our crew is small and we are working with limited equipment. Despite these minor limitations, we will be able to make a great movie.
