Also, to get us the rest of the way to our goal, we are having the FRIEND $1 CHALLENGE! You can see all the details on the web series facebook page, listed above. BUT, for those of you who want to know right now how it works... well, I'll put it here too! (BUT only posts on the facebook page will count!)
The FRIEND $1 CHALLENGE: If everyone had 20 friends who each pledged $1, we would make our goal! SO, I'm going to make a contest out of it! The rules for the contest are:
1. Post the link to my kickstarter page ( http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tugg/tugg-the-bull-terrier-adventures ) on your facebook page.
2. When you post the link on your facebook page, tell your friends about the $1 challenge, and ask them to please go and pledge at least $1.
3. Have your friend post on this post that they made their pledge because you asked them too!
4. WHEN we make our goal, the person who has the most friends who made a pledge and posted here that you sent them, wins!
It will be a cool prize, but I'm going to keep that prize a secret until we have a winner... and since we only have 7 days to make our goal, you'll find out next week!
Update #2: Tugg Theme song
It is official...
Tugg now has his own theme song for the web series! It is almost complete and is being written and recorded by the band Smithfield Fair! We heard the roughs today, and we think it is OUTSTANDING! We know that everyone will be loving it when you hear it, and it will be one of those songs where you just start smiling when it starts playing.
Now in its 39th year and having just released its 27th album, Smithfield Fair (known as Charmer prior to 1989) has always been known for its "uncommon music". Known as 'the perfect cafe band', the groups tight harmonies and intriguing rhythms are known the world over through constant airplay on radio, internet, television and other audio services.
Smithfield Fair is: Jan Smith (vocals, piano, accordion, acoustic guitar); Bob Smith (vocals, acoustic bass, percussion); Dudley-Brian Smith (vocals, acoustic guitar, mandolin, recorders, bagpipe, autoharp, harmonica)
