Eddie Pepitone (Weeds, The Sarah Silverman Program, new Muppets movie) is on a 6-day quest to conquer Hollywoods "toughest" mountain.
Project Description
We are raising $3350.00 to complete post production on the final 2 episodes & DVD release of the mockumentary web series soon to be a short film about a man who tackles Hollywood's "toughest" mountain - Runyon Canyon. Runyon, just north of Sunset Ave., takes the average person, child, or dog just 30 minutes to climb, but for Eddie Pepitone & his Sherpa (Paul Kozlowski), the journey takes 6 days and nights, 100 pounds of mountaineering gear, and an expedition leader (Jim Earl), whom he hired off Craigslist. Eddie's dream has always been to make it to the oversized bench known as "The Chair" atop Runyon. Though the odds and statistics are stacked against him, Eddie is determined to make it. Featured multiple times on Funny or Die, and previewed to a highly receptive audience at the 2010 Mockfest Film Festival in Los Angeles. The series, directed by Troy Conrad, written by Karen Simmons, and narrated by Ron Lynch, will premiere at the Burbank Film Festival in September 2011.
Where the Money Goes:
-Editing and Color Correction of the final two episodes, editing of the 30 minute short, and editing of bonus features for the DVD.
-DVD authoring, printing, and replication.
