Any progress. Would like to see the book before the two year mark comes around. Have not seen anything on your blog about Aruneus in a long time: http://trollitc.com

Congrats man! Your timeline looks spot on for the delivery of goods and I am looking forward to sporting the shirt and game items around my local RPG store and groups. If there is still a question about it, I would not mind at all in being listed as a "Founding Patron" :)

Thanks Ben, I always enjoy supporting RPG Indie projects and spent a great amount of time doing discussion and beta testing around Pathfinder with Paizo, so to have my two loves (Zombies and Pathfinder) put into one book is beyond glorious. I am also kicking this over on my ZRS (Zombie Research Society) site link to see if we can get you some more support before the deadline.

Hi Edward! Thanks for becoming a backer! XL it is! I believe other than the existing PDFs, the T-Shirts will be one of the first rewards to come out of this project, followed by more PDFs and eventually the book. I'm building a loose time line for the entire project now.

Erik - Savage Worlds Aruneus is something that is definitely on my minds. I've been reading up on the system and I really like it. As an added bonus, the editor for the Aruneus project is something of an expert in SW. So . . . once we finish the Pathfinder edition, expect a conversion.

I'd also very much like to see a savage worlds version

      Hey Ben,
I certainly have. I may attempt a book utilizing the patronage model after I get Aruneus up and running at full speed. I feel like I'd need a bit more clout and recognition in the gaming world before I'd be successful at a full patronage project. Of course, using this project to kickstart the whole line would put me in such a position (I would like to think).

Have you considered the patronage model, where some of your backers could contribute material while commenting on the development process?

      Hey Ben,

I am not going to GenCon. But one of my editors from Troll in the Corner is, and he's going armed with a few things. :)

      1. Are you going to Gencon? If so, do you have flyers to stealth-distribute? Why not? :)

      Ethan,

Thank you very, very much for your support! A Savage Worlds conversion is certainly something I want to see done. Which means it will get done, with a bit of time and the help of awesome folks such as yourself, Tracy and Nick!

Well, Ben, if you need a hand converting to Savage Worlds, no doubt Tracy and I can delve into that -- we're old hats. Glad to be a supporter.

Very nice! I've just gotten some artwork from an industry vet - a freelancer who's worked on (and is still working on) a number of current RPG projects! More about that just a little later. :)

Hey folks! I'm giving away three brand new Pathfinder books! http://trollitc.com/2010/07/the-pathfinder-international-give-away-3-books-tons-of-pdfs-16-winners-anywhere-in-the-world/ if you'd like to check it out. Contest ends August 4th.

For those who love Savage Worlds - I've gone out and done a bad, bad thing. I bought the Savage Worlds core rules and read through it. Twice. Now I very much want to convert this entire setting to SW once I've finished the Pathfinder books.

      I blame Joshua.

I forgot to add the Herbology to the list of forthcoming supplements! It will include 6 plants which when used properly can do fantastic and wonderful things! Artwork is already 80% done and the herbs are being drafted. Also, I'm calling it the Herbal Supplement in my head.

      Joshua,

That sounds like a fantastic idea. I don't have any of the Savage World books but if I can raise a bit over the $1500 funding amount, I could get them and give it a go.

I'm very interested in this idea, it sounds like fun. Have you considered dual statting it for Savage Worlds?

I love games, crowd sourced projects and geeky things.

I've been playing and running RPGs since I was 9 years old. Other projects of mine include my current website (http://www.trollitc.com) a blog concerned with all things SciFi and Fantasy. We're read by a bit over 25,000 folks a month and growing.

I've published many PDFs for use with Pathfinder, a sock puppet based RPG for kids called Argyle & Crew and am currently working on my own RPG system.
