I've finished my debut album, The Hidden Rose. I want to share these songs with you. Let them into your life.
We've reached our Goal!! Thank you all so much. Now we're raising funds to help with promotion of the release. We want everyone to know about The Hidden Rose, so every new pledge will go towards marketing.
I've written, recorded, and mixed The Hidden Rose, my debut album. After almost two years of writing and song-smithing to discover the right 10 songs for the album, playing shows with my rock n' roll band all round Seattle and the PNW; challenging AND winning dance-offs; it's time to release this baby!
The first single of The Hidden Rose is called, Captured Moment
I'm looking to raise $1,000 for duplication, art design, photos, and materials. I've teamed up with a graphic designer/screen printer and two talented photographers. I really love holding things in my hand, digesting pictures slowly, and responding to art by making something of my own. Funds will help to commission:
1) A hand silk screened poster that will fold into a CD jacket (design by Notheft)
2) Physical duplication of The Hidden Rose
3) Polaroids by the talented Aya T. Sato + A Concept photo by Robertsen
4) A silk screened journal to write/draw/& plan a way to find The Hidden Rose
Any additional cash-money will go towards marketing the album and increasing the number of people who get to hear The Hidden Rose. I can't wait to share these songs. My hope is that you'll let them into your world, let them become a part of your life, and in response create art of your own.

This is an independent DIY (do it yourself) release. The tricky part is not having the cashola to print the thang. I could just release it digitally, but it means so much to me to have something in your hands. I really want these 10 songs to become a part of peoples lives, and having some accompanying art really helps facilitate that.
But ultimately nothing will stop me. I have a CD release show booked and worse comes to worse, we'll be handing out download codes. These songs have meant so much to me, so I'll share them with the world come hell or high water.
