THE STORY \\
After years of sibling rivalry, we - Trevor (age 24) and Nick Tillery (age 19) have come together in harmony to create music for the first time. It all started a few months back in the beginning of 2012 when Trevor's previous band were writing for their next record and added Nick to the line-up. The writing process consisted of the two of us sending songs and ideas back and forth via email from across the country (Trevor in Nashville, TN and Nick in Phoenix, AZ). Months into the writing and planning, the band folded and left us with a pile of songs and a chemistry we couldn't ignore. Neither of us had felt this kind of musical connection with anyone else before. From there it only felt natural for us to start our own band together as a duo.
Both of us now reside in Nashville where we have been sifting through fifteen plus songs and numerous ideas in preparation to record in the Fall. After each song we write and demo, we continue to feel strongly that we've stumbled upon something truly great. So we are eager to get our debut release out and start playing shows by the beginning of 2013.
THE PLAN \\
Now that we are geographically closer, the songs and chemistry are growing ever stronger and the realization of what we have is profound. Therefore, we want to be sure that every step in the process of releasing this band and music are taken care of by our hand.
After having some prior experience in bands and dealing with the music industry in this day and age, we've decided to start this band and release this debut material independently (until we are in the right company of course!) We firmly believe that cutting out the middle man will allow us to create and release art in the way WE intend to with no other strings attached. This is why we have launched this campaign. YOU are the label, the listener, the backbone. YOU will be our very first audience before anyone else gets to hear the music!
The plan is to use our Kickstarter goal of $6,000 towards funding the recording of our debut EP, the incentives included in this campaign, and any extra funding that will go towards press and promotion to get our music known. If we do not meet our goal we do not get a cent. We can only exceed our goal.
This is a direct way to become a part of this experience right alongside us. With your support behind us, we will be able to effectively deliver our musical vision and chase down our dreams. We can't express how thrilled we are to be making music together and to get this music out into the world and into your ears.

****The digital download card package featuring artwork & lyrics is a handmade booklet of exclusive artwork signed by the band. This will be an exclusive handmade run just for backers. The digital download card will be inside holding the content of the EP (in high quality digital format).
In this digital age, the CD format is dying yet the costs to duplicate them are not lowering. However, we still believe that having a physical copy is important. With that said, we have decided to go with physical digital download packaging in hopes that we won't become a coaster after you have uploaded our music to your computer or IPod :)

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Everything that comes with following your dreams comes with obstacles. Our greatest challenge is that even with our Kickstarter funding we will still have many expenditures for getting this project and release ready. Expenditures such as web/artwork design, promotion/hiring a publicist, and equipment for building our live show.
Our Kickstarter goal is the minimum of what we need to record, mix, and master the EP. We will be working and saving our own money to throw in the additional costs to make this happen. However, this isn't our first rodeo and we have overcome these barriers before in projects (see SPELLS Kickstarter). We are used to working hard to accomplish our dreams and goals. For us, punctuality is vital. We strive to meet our deadlines and keep all our backers updated and informed every step of the way.
