We'd like to thank everyone who has shown their support already as well as those who have sent in requests for bags they'd like to use TrekPak in!  We really underestimated how many people wished there was a better alternative to velcro so they could free their lives from its noisy, irritating grasp! For those who like their existing camera bag, but want to get rid of the velcro dividers, we think we've cracked the code. We are very proud to introduce...

RolliPak!

RolliPak is an easy-to-install, lightweight alternative to the velcro dividers currently taking up space in your camera bag! Utilizing the same TrekPak pin system, RolliPak seamlessly integrates into any camera bag by attaching to the velcro that is already lining your bag. Simply unroll RolliPak in your bag, trim to desired length, pin in your dividers, and add your gear! Yup, it’s really that simple.

 

RolliPak comes with a 48” roll, an ample amount of dividers of various lengths, and plenty of pins, so you can set up your bag just how you like it. RolliPak Pro adds an additional 24” roll, as well as extra dividers and pins so you can outfit an even bigger bag or case. RolliPak is available in several different heights ranging from 3” to 6” to ensure a perfect fit. 

Tips for Sizing RolliPak

To find whether you need the RolliPak or the RolliPak Pro to fully line your bag, you'll need to estimate or measure the total inside perimeter of your bag.  An easy way to do it is to use a piece of string and work it around the inside of your bag with your fingers.  Then simply straighten out the string and measure its length!

To determine which Rollipak height your bag needs, it is best to pull out one of your velcro dividers and measure its height.  If it is between 3" and 4.5", the standard kit will work great.  If you have a deeper bag between 5" and 6" then we recommend you go with the deeper kit for the best fit.  RolliPak will be available in heights in 1/2" increments from 3" to 6" and you'll be able to specify which particular height you would like after the Kickstarter project concludes.

Other Details

Since your camera bag already has padding, RolliPak trades its outer layer of padding for velcro hooks. We know, we know... velcro on a product that is supposed to do away with velcro? We decided it is a necessary evil for attaching the TrekPak system to an existing camera bag in a very secure way, and once its installed you don't have to deal with it ever again.  Also, since the entire backside of the RolliPak roll is covered in hooks, it will attach to virtually all camera bags whether they are fully lined with velcro or only have select strips of it.

Once you unroll RolliPak in your bag you can easily trim it to length with ordinary scissors.  The material cuts cleanly, and you can hide the seam in a corner.  For a real finished look, we will also include some precision cut permanent fabric stickers to seal off the ends.

Once RolliPak is installed, you now have a TrekPak compatible system that you can customize to your heart's content with the large assortment of dividers included in the kit!

The standard height ROLLIPAK reward level is $85. Please add $20 for a total of $105 if you would like the deeper kit.
