Gratitude and an offer
Even when things seem like a sure bet and you can see momentum building it's hard to believe sometimes that you'll reach a goal. The idea that so many people believe in us enough to back us financially is overwhelming and I'll admit it I've spent most of the last week feeling like I'd been watching the end of Field of Dreams over and over again...
I honestly can't thank you enough.
But I am brazen enough to ask for One More Thing...
This fundraiser was always intended to help with our hard costs... rent for performance and rehearsal, designer fees and set construction, while we faced the consequences of your own decisions on soft costs. That budget always presumed on the reality of indie theatre... our actors would work for free so that's what we budget for.
We hate it, and we give over entire nights (15% of our box office opportunity) to trying to raise money for their efforts, but it's never equal to the time and energy they put in. So I would like to take the remaining 3 days and give the community a chance to right the inequity.
Anything we receive over our stated goal will be added to the proceeds from cast benefit nights and divided equally among the cast.
I am not asking that you dig deeper and give more. I'm asking that you help spread the word so that those who haven't yet had an opportunity can give directly to the cast. If you've been able to join us at the Blue Theatre you know they deserve it.

Hey Travis, why don't you get some skin in the game? HA HA Why don't you sell your body?! Okay. For as many as sign up, I will tattoo your name in a lil heart on my calf. The heart will be no smaller than two inches wide, and will be large enough for your name to be visible. Will will shoot the process and you will receive photos and heck if we can get some video we'll post that too. ETA: Group buy-in is fine (I encourage community) you just have to decide on one name... and it doesn't have to be YOUR name.
