Week 1 Update
What an unbelievable flood of support in the first week. In the first seven days, you all have pushed us to within 15% of the goal! On behalf of everyone involved with CARD-tamen™ I can't thank you all enough.
Attached to this post is a new photo. I received a new proof deck today, so here's a shot of the four types of CARDs, along with the rules and d20.

But wait? Kevin, what is that other card sitting there on top of the rules sheet?
That's now the 64th card in a 63 card set. We decided to create another card that has the twenty controversies listed on it; 1-10 on the front and 11-20 on the back. Everyone who has contributed $25 or more (enough for the full deck reward) will receive one of these cards per deck as part of the full package. We figured it would be handy to have a easily accessible reference for the controversies -- what better way than with a card that can stay with the rest?

For the next update... CARD-tamen™ Rome is being played all this week by real Latin students down at the National Junior Classical League annual convention, thanks to the delegation from the great state of Massachusetts. The next update will be a few action shots of CARD-tamen™ Rome in the wild.
