Toxo-Philite is a clothing line I created that expresses my desire to make women feel comfortable and confident, to look sophisticated, but relaxed. I am a designer who trusts clean lines and classic designs that marry form and function, Toxo-Philite is an endeavor wholly from my heart. In staying true to my love of everything chic and timeless—Toxo-Philite is lovingly created with completely sumptuous fabrics. Most of all, Toxo-Philite is for those who appreciate everyday luxury and ease.

This Kickstarter project is the full process of creating the next Toxo-Philite collection, from concept and design, to prototypes and final pieces. The production will not be outsourced, it will be created from beginning to end in my Austin, TX studio. Hand-dyed fabric and hand-knit pieces will be included.

With the support of backers Toxo-Philite will accomplish:

Design: The concept for the collection will be developed through researching colors, images, fabrics and yarns.

Samples: Inspired by this research designs will be sketched and prototypes made.  This will include dye testing, hand-knit samples, pattern drafting and alterations.

Final Pieces: A cohesive collection of 15-20 pieces will be created.  Production of the line will include cost of studio space, machine upkeep, and material costs.

Share: The fashion show and look book will be produced with models, photographers, hair and makeup, and art direction.  The line will be shown and sold at fashion expositions including GlamaVida in Panama City, Panama.
