As I promised a few weeks ago, here's your Christmas present of my pledge. I've enjoyed your comics for the last two years, and look forward to owning a printed copy. I can't wait till you get to the most recent years, when I started reading it! Thanks for the laughs! -David

Magne,
I'm asking international backers to pledge a little bit more to help cover the cost of shipping. It's not a requirement, but is considered helpful.
I tried to build in the cost of shipping as part of my needs with this campaign. But it is difficult to estimate how many backers might be from countries outside of the U.S.
Also, I did not want potential shipping concerns to bump up the total monetary requirements of the campaign to a point where I could not hope to make goal.
I hope that answers your question!

How is shipping handled for international backers?

Tom Brazelton is The Guy and Theater Hopper is the comic made by that Guy!
Theater Hopper is a site that receives a visit from myself every day, and is also the place where you could pick up a rad emerging shirt! Can't wait 'til I get a copy of the new book with all that commentary!
Creator Dustin Brants on December 1, 2009
I own both Year One and Year Two of Theater hopper and have to say that both are great! The books are a great way to see the comic’s art and voice evolve over time. For the longest time my shelf space was extremely limited, so I had to be picky about what was on the shelf and what had to go into storage. There was never a time when I considered pulling Theater Hopper from the shelf.
I think that you too should find a place for Theater Hopper on your personal Shelf of Honor!
Creator Gina Privitere on November 30, 2009
I do not own the other books but I am excited to purchase one now! I visit Tom's website almost daily. Keep up your fantastic work!
Creator Jonah Gregory on November 27, 2009
Good luck with the pledge drive! I am looking forward to Year Three.
If people haven't picked up books 1 & 2, this is a great way to get those. I can personally attest to the fact that the commentary is worth picking up a hard-copy for. DO IT! :D
Creator Christian Southworth on November 25, 2009
PS.
Sorry I'm one of the international readers who can't get kickstarter to work for them :-(
but an eary pre-order and support is the least I can do here!

As a proud owner of both Year one and two I cannot recomend them enough, in fact I think I've lent (forced) more of my friends to read these than any other books or films I own.
The artwork is great but its the ideas that always make me come back to the books and the site something about the mix of films and totally out there off the wall jokes just really appeals to me. Add into this Tom's soem times very in depth commentary about EVERY comic I cant think why any fan would be able to resist buying the book. I know there is the web archive but the time saved alone in downloading each page is worth the cost of the books!
I could be classed as a bit too much a comic fanboy to be impartial... but TheatreHopper is the only webcomic that I have kept 100% up to date with over the last seven years or so, and has been the first bookmark added on 9 computers including 5 different company ones so Tom must be doing something right!
Thanks for giving me something to read in the office.

I have both Years of Tom's books and he has done an outstanding job on both. I was one who asked for the movie index in the back so I could see how he joked about a particular movie I enjoy.
The written commentaries amaze me. Some are just about the comic. Others have Tom explaining what he meant if something seemed mean spirited. They give a great insight to who Tom really is and why he sometimes struggles to get out his best joke. This are something that takes more time to put in book form but is well worth reading.
Please pledge. I selfishly want Year Three to come out so I can get a copy. If you figure Tom does 50 weeks of comics at 3 a week that's 150 comics. Can't you skip buying a coffee or bring lunch to work one day and pledge $1 or $5? I know the economy is tight but Tom is doing the strip FREE for us. Spending HIS money on art supplies and webhosting. Then there is his PERSONAL time away from his family and friends because he has to come up with another comic. I don't know how he does it but I appreciate it. I pledged. I hope you will too. You won't be disappointed.

I have become a HUGE fan of Theater Hopper since my friends introduced me to it. I only wish I had more to pledge. This is a great comic that has gripped me from the moment I set eyes on it. Trust me in saying that I would gladly have pledged more if I had the funds to do so but I fully intend on buying Theater Hopper: Year Three anyway I can, though I hope it is as simple as Tom getting the support he needs fromyou guys at KICKSTARTER. I haven't bought years one or two but I certainly want a copy for myself since my friends have. Tom's art is truley undervalued, I believe the day will come when these comics will find their way to a mainstream audience and become a classic along the lines that Archie and Garfield have in their forms of media, that may seem extreme to some older folks but as a young twenties movie fanatic that never found interest in the Sunday Comics I am happy to say I am a fan of Theater Hopper and this is the type of comic movie culture that will catch on one day with all people of my generation that love to read and share opinions on movies and pop culture.

I have Year One and Year Two in my collection and will often re-read them or show them to friends. I also have the Pimp Tom t shirt.
I have been reading Theater Hopper for many years now and it is one of my fave webcomics. Hope the money can be raised for getting Year Three printed so it can sit next to the first two on my shelf.
Creator Jackson Ferrell on November 24, 2009
I own both Book 1 and Book 2. Book 1 was pretty decent, Book 2 was good, and from the previews I've seen of its content, Book 3 looks to be even better. I'm really looking forward to getting my copy.
Creator Adam Barnello on November 24, 2009
I have Year 1 and Year 2, and both were great reads! I'm also convinced that your shirt designs (when you don't try too hard - haha) are the best out there! I've bought Spoiler 1 and the Junkie shirt, and both are friend favorites. People stop me all the time to read Spoiler! Keep up the great work, and best of luck reaching your goal!

Many thanks, Kaleb. Considering the wide variety of web comics that are out there, I consider it a dsinct honor that Theater Hopper is the only one you read! :D
Creator Kaleb Pier on November 6, 2009
There you go, Tom. Yours is the only webcomic I read and I'm glad I picked a winner. I have two shirts and your first book and am proud to say that. I've been a fan since almost the beginning. You're the man.
